Introduction - AccessPRO
AccessPRO specifically provides many organizations with a simple solution to control access and is an add-on software application to the inepro Back office suite (iBOS).  

Introduction - iBOS
iBOS is a series of software modules within the inepro range of products that simply allows IT departments, facility managers or operators of vended equipment to deploy the modules (individually or collectively) for the required application. i.e Document Accounting, Catering and Vending or with an addition of AccessPRO security can also be adhered to.

iBOS consists of DocuPRO, CashPRO and AccessPRO, which collectively offers a complete solution to manage print / copy costs, cashless catering and vending, EPOS transactions and controlled access. Whether it’s a charged or just a controlled service iBOS offers it all.

 AccessPRO is Windows server based controlled entrance / exit software.  With AccessPRO you can set access rules for your users within the organization. Rules can be based on specific doors or zones. The AccessPRO software works seamlessly with the Inepro hardware and the different smart card technologies offered by the company to identify users.   For identification of users the AccessPRO hardware utilizes the same proven Linux technology as found in our other accounting and payment terminals from different applications. Due to this innovative design in hardware, controlled access is possible for registered time and date entries. The installation is simple via Ethernet and an electronic lock at the entrance / exit door. The brand name for all inepro hardware identification terminals is PayCon, which are available for multiple proximity smart card technologies like Mifare Classic, Mifare Desfire, , Legic, HiD and Multitag.  

Reports
AccessPRO gives you detailed reporting functions based on the set access rules, user access, doors, zones etc.  

The environment

AccessPRO is ideal for any environment where security is needed. Security parameters can be set on the central entrance of a building or specific areas, zones, or doors in the organization. The access door controllers and the hubs can even work in offline situations.

o    Windows 2000 Pro (When making use of a Win2000 work station as a DocuPRO server
(note the Microsoft programmed limitations)

o    Windows XP Pro (when making use of a WinXP work station as a DocuPRO server
(note the Microsoft programmed limitations)

o    Windows 2003 Server

·         256 Mb RAM (512 preferred)

·         5 GB HDD free disk space where the printer spool files are placed (c :)

·         NTFS file system§ Optional back-up equipment, as cd(re)writer, dat drive, zip drive etc. etc.

·         Display setting 1024 X 768

·         SQL Enterprise Manager 2000 installed.
