Saving energy in HOT climates with the coin operated timers of Inepro.  

Inepro have developed a coinbox that regulates the use of air-conditioning time in hotel rooms and rental apartments. By incorporating a "current sensor" inside the coinbox, it regulates the usage of air-conditioning time. Guests can now buy air-conditioning time and save the owner energy & costs. Time periods can be adjustable. i.e. 6 hours for € 5.00.

The coinbox has a pause and start facility via a push button, which allows guests to leave the air-con “on” or “off” during the period of their stay. A built-in display shows the guests time purchased and time remaining.
 

First installations of the coinboxes have showed a saving of hundreds of euro’s per month per room.

Inepro have been manufacturing timers for many years. Camping and Caravanning sites regulate water usage within shower blocks by connecting the timers to a water valve. The timer is programmed for 3 to 5 minutes main time, after which the timer overruns for a further 1 minute, giving the guest a limited time to finish showering. Much water is saved, which benefits the environment and generates additional revenue.
