DocuPRO Embedded Client for Ricoh is an embedded  software application that runs on a virtual JavaTM machine in the Ricoh AficioTM Multi Functional Devices (MFD).  The DocuPRO Embedded Client communicates simultaneously with the DocuPRO back office software via the network connection of the MFD and allows configuration and updates to take place centrally.

DocuPRO Embedded Client allows safe access to the print devices with secure release of print jobs for follow Me&You and scan functionalities. In combination with the DocuPRO software you can easily configure the Ricoh MFD and users functionalities to generate centralized reports of paper usage by individual users, departments, print devices etc.

DocuPRO is a software based document accounting, tracking  and cost recovery solution that allows you to manage your print costs effectively, it assigns all documents, prints and copies to  individual users, departments, cost centers or has prints paid for. With the DocuPRO accounting software, administrators can generate any kind of management information.

Using Ricoh’s touch screen and keyboard, DocuPRO embedded offers you a fully integrated document accounting solution with simple messaging for users. Users can manually log onto the machine via the touch screen of the Ricoh MFD or via an optional IP card reader built onto the MFD. DocuPRO offers full flexibility in setting work flows with secure access, secure printing, follow Me&You, job code printing etc. DocuPRO uses an MSSQL database for central storage of transactions. With DocuPRO you can generate any kind of report. i.e. Total turnover or usage per individual user, groups, departments, cost centers, standalone machines etc.
